I've never been to the Texas State Fair, but according to this review of the Fair's fried food, I've not missed much. The author of the review is naturally biased in her state's favor, though, so I wouldn't put too much stock in her opinion. Not that it actually matters since I never eat that kind of food. The pork chops on a stick do sound interesting, however!

Being the word nerd that I am, I'm addicted to this "game" at FreeRice.com. Not only can you build your vocabulary with it, you help feed the world's hungry at the same time. Very cool!
